I just have to brag on my sweet little boys! We bought Brent a potty a couple of weeks ago to start down the long road of potty-training. He would tell me every day that he needed to potty, but when he sat down, he never actually went. Well, last Friday he went pee-pee in his potty for the first time!!! We were so proud! And, he has gone twice since then. We had a really hard time training Jordan, so maybe this is a good sign. Brent was so excited, and Mommy and Daddy were too!
Jordan's baseball team won their game today!! This is our first season of total coach pitch and Jordan is improving every week. A couple of weeks ago, he hit one nearly over the fence. He is doing great in school as well. He is starting to read chapter books, and the week before last when he brought home his graded papers, they were all 100's!!! He gets his first report card for 2nd grade in 2 weeks. Im sure he's gonna have all A's. We may be having to make a trip to the toy department at Walmart!
Daddy and I love our boys so much and we are so proud of them!
Wow! I think Santa was way too good to the boys this year!! I was going to get some pictures of the boys with their toys, but as soon as they walked into the den, there was no stopping them! Its a good thing I got a pic of everything before hand. We had a great Christmas, and I hope everyone else did too.
Yesterday was Jordan's Christmas party at school. They had an ice cream party, and they all had too much fun. With all of the action, I couldn't get very many photos. But this is Jordan and one of his best friends, Mason. This is the first year that they have been in the same class together.....and their teacher has had her hands full!
So, Jordan taught Brent how to say "gangsta" and "bling"..... What am I going to do with these two!
A group of us girls from the ER went to eat lunch at The Bright Star today. 7 grown-ups and 6 little boys........you could say we had our hands full! But, they all were very well behaved. The food was wonderful as always, and we had a great time just hanging out. Can't wait to do it again. Brent was sound asleep before we even made it back to the interstate.
Brent was making faces at me while he was in the shower the other night. I just had to take some pics. He is such a ham!
Brent had a great birthday party. Of course, he loved the ice cream and cake, and I think his favorite gift was money!! He's learning that way too early!
Jordan is playing Fall ball, so again we are living at the ballpark! It's so fun though. Brent thinks he is big enough to play too! He loves putting on Bubba's helmet and hitting baseballs off the tee.
So, since we didn't have to take the Moonwalk from the ER picnic back until Monday, we decided to blow it up in our driveway on Sunday for Brent, Jordan, and his friends. It was a big hit! Although I think most of our neighbors thought we were crazy!
Jordan & Brent had so much fun on the beach. We had to drag Brent in kicking & screaming every day! He loved playing in the sand.
